The Sociedad Matadero Frigorífico del Sur S.A. - MAFRISUR was established, with the required livestock spirit and expertise. There were 13 pioneers and many others who joined the company during the different steps that had to be taken to make this dream come true.

Thus, in November 2004, the foundation stone was laid, representing an important milestone in this process.

The first animal is slaughtered, beginning our service path with the best professionals and collaborators, many of them being their first job but with the desire and commitment to learn a job, in which they were specializing, expanding their horizons in terms of process, quality and safety.

Our first customers who believed in the project were very important in this process, those who trusted us and sent us the first animals for slaughter and from then on, we grew, both in the slaughter service and incorporating other production and commercialization areas.

We proudly exported our first container of frozen beef by-products to Japan, starting and opening the path to this market and many others for our service customers as well as for us as direct exporters.
